MOSCOW, Oct 28 (PRIME) -- Russian online retailer Wildberries will invest 8 billion rubles in construction of a distribution center in the Vladimir Region, bordering the Moscow Region, the company said on Thursday in a statement.
“A new distribution center of Wildberries with the area of 100,000 square meters will be erected on the territory of the Vladimir Region. Its launch is expected in 2022–2023, and Wildberries’ investment will amount to some 8 billion rubles,” the seller said.
The facility will create 5,000 jobs, and local businessmen will be able to raise online sales and cut expenses on logistics.
